ATTENTION!   Please sign this on-line petition to increase access to Ontario’s Community Health Centres and Aboriginal Health Access Centres!  Petition  Add your voice to our collective efforts to expand access to 250,000 more Ontarians by 2015!

Expanding access to community health is the number one priority for our Community Health Centre sector--our goal is to get the support of all political candidates to help us expand community health centre (CHC) and aboriginal health access centre (AHAC) services to 250,000 more Ontarians by 2015!

CHC's and AHAC's provide high quality care, make our health care system more accessible, affordable and sustainable. CHC's and AHAC's offer a unique and comprehensive mode of Primary Health Care that compliments that of hospitals and our broader health care system.

CHC's and AHAC's currently serve 4% of the population and we know that 15.2% of Ontarians are impacted by poverty, have increased risk of health issues and need to have access to quality health care--our goal is to extend the reach of  our services to these individuals.
